I remember talking with Edith at our church picnic, held at Jackie and Gordon's house. Edith was always upbeat and interested in what was going on around her. She loved watching the birds, and could identify many of them and talk about their habits. She was a keen observer, and took pleasure from life's simple things: food and friends and good times. She knew that life was precious, and that is a great gift.

I'm so sorry for her family's loss. However, I'm sure she and Les are dancing together now as they have always done. It was always about being together. Their love will continue to enrich the lives of their family and friends. They were a gift to this world.

Pr. Kathy
