Uncle John was my favorite uncle. Since I was only 7 years younger than Uncle John, I have lots of memories. I remember the times he would come over to my Mom and Dad's house and play games. I remember the night Tracy was born. We had gone to Schoolcraft to play cards until Aunt Susan and Uncle John left to go to the hospital to give birth to her. I will always keep all of my memories of Uncle John in my heart. He was the best uncle a niece could have.

As friend, as coworker, as neighbor, and, as a gentleman. THAT is how I'll remember John. Always friendly, he never passed a chance to warmly say hello.
I'm so sorry for his family's loss.
