I`m sorry to hear of the passing of Phyllis. She and I had never met. We are 3rd cousins 1x removed. From the very first time I had talked with her she was very gracious, and welcoming. Would answer questions that I had regarding the Tschumy family. I am so glad that I had decided to make that phone call and had a chance to talk with her.
Thanks Phyllis And God bless

I remember Phyllis as being a charming lady full of fun, who saw at the bright side of life.
Her sister-in-law Mary introduced me to the whole family, sharing the cottage on Klinger Lake, and enriching my Fremont Family. To a great lady.
Phyllis' husband Bill decorated 'The Tree' every year, allowing neighborhood children to ride in the bucket to hang those huge ornaments.
Sincerely, Pat Miller

My favorite aunt fathers dear sister. We do have very loving memories of you..So many Christmas and Thanksgiving celebrations as I was growing up. And I remember living with you while my mother was at Mayo and you were so kind. I was so little. As Grandma Tschumy said , always at every family dinner , "Aren't we having fun? And yippee for the family!" We were blessed Aunt Phyllis to have you in our lives and continue the joy.
Love Gail ,Brooke , Brent, and Troy

Phyllis was a SPECIAL woman and will be missed, not only by her family, but by all who knew her. While I was in college when my widowed mother and teenage sister moved into your dad and mother's "garage". Your parents were so gracious to us and we became good friends, even stopping to visit them when they moved to Sturgis. It is always hard to lose a parent no matter their age of condition. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,
Tom and Mary Ellen (Hughes) Leite.

I will miss you so very, very much grandma. I painfully already do.
Summers won't be the same without you but I know you are always
with us. Thank you for everything you've done for me and my own children.
The love and wisdom you have provided me are eternal.
Love you,
Molly Rutledge and family

Wonderful person.

Mrs. Brown, as she was affectionately called around our house, was kind to me my whole life. After I lost my grandma, she said that she'd be my "fill-in" grandma, and that she was. We always enjoyed the traditional cocktail hour with her and it certainly won't be the same on Sandy Beach with out her.
She had a wonderful life and had a great family taking care of her.
Our thoughts are with you.
Luke Hill and Family.
